It’s Art,
a new nonprofit organization, incorporated in the State of Washington
and registered with the IRS and is offering a unique, exciting,
and profitable fundraising opportunity
that does not involve selling cookies, candy, coffee, or car
washes.
Since 2005, we have produced an annual holiday show, The
Seven Dancing Sultanas: A Belly Dance Fairytale for the
whole family. Proceeds from each performance have been
donated to one charitable organization. Past beneficiaries
were School Kids Come First and Ujima Community Services, One
Church One Child.
This year we’re doing something different and offering several
organizations the opportunity to enjoy a magical, full length
theatrical dance production while earning money for your organization.
Here’s the way it works. First, you must be a registered
nonprofit organization. When you sign up for this program
you will be given promotion materials and a special code for
your supporters to use when purchasing tickets through
Brown Paper Tickets. You will receive $6 for every $15 adult
ticket or $5 for every $12 child/student/senior ticket purchased
using your code. Selling tickets to the show can
be as easy as telling people about the show or using your organization’s
email or newsletter to promote the show.
It’s a wonderful opportunity to enjoy a really great show while

It all happens on November 22, 2008 7 PM at the Rainier Beach
High School, Paul Robeson Performing Arts Center, 8815 Seward
Park Ave. S., Seattle. This show features some of Seattle’s
most popular dancers as the royal dancing daughters, and Seattle
Wushu Martial Artists as the sultan’s royal guard.
